Grovve · Benchmark Insight ("the Extension") helps users save competitor websites and analyze their SEO, audience, Naver, and GEO (generative-engine) signals. This policy explains exactly what data the Extension collects and why.

1. What we collect — and when

The Extension does nothing in the background. Data is collected only when you take an explicit action: clicking Save Benchmark, or clicking Re-analyze / Refresh on a saved item. When you do, the Extension analyzes that page and sends a single structured record about the analyzed website to our collection endpoint:

• Page metadata: URL, domain, page title, auto-inferred category and tags
• Timestamps: saved time, last-updated time
• SEO signals: a compact summary (score; presence of title, meta description, canonical, robots, sitemap, Open Graph; heading/link/image counts; schema types)
• Naver signals: site-verification meta presence, robots/sitemap existence, OG presence
• GEO signals: heuristic scores (entity presence, context clarity, topic density, answerability, structured-content, etc.)
• CTA keywords and a high-level audience hint about the website (e.g. B2B/B2C, pricing tier) — heuristic inferences about the website, not about you

We also keep an aggregate view count and server-side first/last-seen timestamps.

2. What we do NOT collect

• No personal identity, account, name, email, or login credentials
• No passwords, form inputs, keystrokes, or clipboard data
• No full page text or screenshots — only the structured signals above
• No browsing history beyond the pages you choose to Save or Re-analyze
• No cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking

3. Why we collect it

To improve the accuracy of our analysis and to build an aggregated, website-level market-intelligence dataset that powers our product roadmap (Grovve).

4. Where it goes

A copy of your saved benchmarks is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). The structured record in §1 is transmitted over HTTPS to our collection endpoint (a Google Apps Script web app writing to a private Google Sheet controlled by us), and may later be migrated to our own database.

5. Other network requests

Aside from the collection endpoint, the Extension's only network activity is fetching the analyzed site's own robots.txt and sitemap.xml (same-origin).

6. Sharing & selling

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Processing is performed by our infrastructure providers (Google) solely to operate the service.

7. Data retention & your choices

Records are retained as long as needed to develop and improve the product. You can request deletion by emailing us. Removing the Extension stops all collection; locally saved benchmarks can be deleted from within the Extension.

1. 무엇을, 언제 수집하나

확장 프로그램은 백그라운드에서 아무것도 수집하지 않습니다. 데이터는 사용자의 명시적 행동이 있을 때만 수집됩니다 — 벤치마크 저장 클릭, 또는 저장 항목의 다시 분석/새로고침 클릭. 이때 해당 페이지를 분석하여 분석 대상 웹사이트에 관한 구조화된 1건의 레코드를 수집 엔드포인트로 전송합니다(URL·도메인·제목·카테고리·태그, 저장/갱신 시각, SEO·네이버·GEO 신호, CTA 키워드, 웹사이트에 대한 오디언스 힌트). 또한 집계용 조회수와 서버 수신 시각을 보관합니다. 오디언스 힌트는 해당 웹사이트에 대한 추정이며 사용자 개인 정보가 아닙니다.

2. 수집하지 않는 것

개인 신원·계정·이메일·로그인 자격증명, 비밀번호·입력폼·키입력, 페이지 전체 텍스트· 스크린샷, 사용자가 저장/재분석하지 않은 방문 기록, 쿠키·핑거프린팅·크로스사이트 추적 — 모두 수집하지 않습니다.

3. 수집 목적

분석 정확도 개선 및 제품(Grovve)을 위한 집계형 시장 인텔리전스 데이터셋 구축.

4. 저장 위치

저장 벤치마크 사본은 브라우저 로컬(chrome.storage.local)에 보관되며, §1의 레코드는 HTTPS로 당사 수집 엔드포인트(비공개 구글 시트에 기록하는 Apps Script 웹앱)로 전송되고 추후 당사 DB로 이전될 수 있습니다.

5. 그 외 네트워크 / 공유 / 보유 / 선택권

수집 엔드포인트 외 네트워크 활동은 분석 대상 사이트의 robots.txt· sitemap.xml(동일 출처) 요청뿐입니다. 데이터를 판매하거나 광고주·무관한 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다. 필요한 기간 보관하며, 이메일로 삭제 요청 가능. 확장 삭제 시 수집 중단, 로컬 벤치마크는 확장 내에서 삭제할 수 있습니다.
